To make your stay even better, make sure not to miss out on the high-quality monthly markets that take place regularly around the Tweed Coast – all reachable within moments from our Cabarita Beach accommodation.

Kingscliff Markets

Take a scenic coastal drive north from our location to enjoy the Kingscliff Markets held fortnightly in Jack Bayliss Park. One of the most popular markets on the Tweed Coast, the Kingscliff Markets offer a wide selection of high-quality stalls selling everything from fashion and jewellery to artwork and souvenirs. With its location near Kingscliff Beach, the various stalls are well worth a look around before spending the afternoon on the beach. Just make sure to head to Jack Bayliss Park on either the second or fourth Saturday morning of the month.

Uki Markets

The Uki Markets, also known as the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market, is held every third Sunday of the month in Uki, and has been around for roughly 30 years. Take in the stunning backdrop of Mount Warning as you browse through plentiful stalls selling clothing, jewellery, books, arts and crafts, handmade souvenirs, plants and lots more. Hunters of anything vintage can be sure to find something to take home, as well as anyone looking to purchase antiques. The bustling atmosphere of the Uki Markets is made even better with live music from local bands, which you can enjoy while sipping on a coffee or tucking into hot food. The Uki Markets start from 9am, offering ample time to look around before spending the afternoon exploring Uki.

Murwillumbah Showground Markets

Within a short 25-minute drive from our Cabarita accommodation, the Murwillumbah Showground Markets offer a great Sunday out for the whole family. Averaging about 100 stalls each occurrence, the Murwillumbah Showground Markets specialise in fresh tropical fruit, vegetables and food trucks, offering the perfect opportunity to pick up fresh goods or try something new and tasty. There are also lots of arts and craft-based stalls selling handmade arts, souvenirs and gifts. The Murwillumbah Showgrounds offers plenty of space for walking around the stalls, and a scenic stretch of green hinterland in the background. Catch the Murwillumbah Showground Markets each fourth Sunday of the month.

Also held in Murwillumbah, the Makers and Finders Markets are well worth visiting each third Saturday of the month. Held in Knox Park – just minutes away from the Murwillumbah Showgrounds – this popular flea market has a broad spread of stalls selling all things vintage, indie and handmade.
